Harp-Iran Company ( Mehrdad musical instrument researches ) founded in 1375 solar (1996

A.D. ) and manage by Siyamak Mehrdad. The activities and performs of this company is : researching , making and remaking about the Iranian musical instruments which which is forgotten in recent years . The other important activity of this company is about making and coiling the silken and metal strings.

 after several years , the research section of this company could get some information about

Iranian harp which was forgotten more than 300 years . Finally , in 1380 (2001 A.D.) , we succeeded to make the first archaic harp . Of course , we refered it to all the Iranian Pictures , miniatures and carvings that is remained before and after Islam .

 The group of cittern musical instruments like Santoor , Kanoon , Chang and harp are four main groups of our products . We tried to trouble shooting of santoor and making kanoon (the kind of kanoon thet is made in 500 years ago ) . And also we researched and remade three kinds of archaic chang which was common 300 years ago . making all kinds of harps & Pedal harps That never made in recent 40 years in Iran , and also coiling the silken strings (these strings didn't use in recent 130 years , because the metal strings had been produced so easily in Iran .) in different thickness which is useful for all of the common musical instruments in all the world , ( Iranian setar Or all kinds of Pedal harps are not so different . )
